The International School of The Hague
Over de school
The Secondary School of the International School of The Hague is a busy and vibrant community where our students develop all-round personal excellence through our rigorous academic programmes, a strong pastoral (wellbeing) programme and a wide-ranging extra-curricular programme.
Our academic programme is based on three International Baccalaureate (IB) programmes: Middle Years Programme (MYP), Diploma Programme (IBDP) and Career-related Programme (IBCP). Our Vice Principal Academic, S, oversees a highly experienced team of deputy heads (programme coordinators) and subject area leaders who implement a very wide range of subjects and interdisciplinary projects. EAL and Learning Support departments provide support students with specific language and learning needs.
Students’ wellbeing is taken very seriously, with a dedicated wellbeing department as well as a comprehensive pastoral programme. Each student is assigned to a Mentor in a group of between 20 and 25 students. The teams of mentors, year leaders and deputy heads (pastoral) are overseen by our Vice Principal Pastoral.
